You turn your head as you run to see a pack of skinny, pale creatures charging at you from the other side of the marsh, splashing through the water to get to you.
You try to keep running, but there's too many of them, and soon enough they pile on top of you and pin you to the ground.
They claw and tear at your skin. They rip and pull on your limbs. The last things you see as you're devoured alive are tired, hungry eyes, and what looks like a golden glow watching down on you from the sky.
